You Never Let Go

I was driving through the corn fields of Ohio last night and this song came on the radio.  Take a few minutes to listen to it before you read on :-)

As this song played I couldn't help but be taken back 3-4 years ago as the world I knew was falling apart.  The people whom I had trusted were no longer trustworthy and God seemed more distant than He ever had before.  Yet, through it all I remember singing this song ... over and over and over ... You never let go, You never let go, You never let go - at the time I felt as though God might have let go, yet I knew He says He won't ... what powerful words!  3-4 years later I can honestly say that God NEVER let go and as I look back over my life I can see His hand throughout it.  He has been holding me, carrying me, walking alongside me throughout EVERYTHING ... He has NEVER let go!

I want to begin adding a component to my blog.  I want to begin sharing ways that God has NEVER let go of me.  Throughout college I found myself "hiding" my story ... but what I was really doing was "hiding" God's Story.  So, I want to share my story in order to point you to Him because God hasn't let go of you either!  No matter what you're facing, what you've ben through, or what is around the next corner!  So, stay tuned as I hope to share my past present and future in an authentic way that honors God and points others to Him!
